Job Description
Drive operational efficiency at Seaspan Shipyards in Victoria, BC as a Raw Materials Coordinator. This fully on-site position is key to managing raw steel flow to support our fabrication processes effectively.
In this role, you will coordinate raw materials for fabrication projects, drawing on 2 to 4 years of experience in materials management or steel purchasing. Your responsibilities include maintaining inventory, managing supplier relations, and ensuring compliance with quality documentation. Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems is a necessity, coupled with analytical skills to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
