Summary

/Objective:The role of a (Machine Build Procurement) Sourcing/Kitting specialist is a direct report in the Automation Development Group. This role has expectations to provide all tooling requirements from a specific BOM to the Machine Shop for assembly. The details required to achieve this include determine where to purchase items, enter/manage/expedite PO’s, organize the purchased tools as they arrive to individual machine assembly drawings. This is a key role in supporting the Rise of the Machines initiative, new machine platforms (new products and/or technologies), and machines for capacity expansions.Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.
  • Receive purchase requests to place PO’s for machine build BOM items.
  • Meet with Mechanical & Controls Engineering as needed to make time commitments for placing and receiving machine component PO’s.
