Sea freight controller assistant market related

Our client, a company who specializes in perishable logistics, is looking for a Sea Freight Controller Assistant. You will be joining a team that supports and assists one another.

Primary Responsibilities Coordinate the movement of freight from farm to end user, listening to customer needs, contacting shipping lines, compiling quotes based on customer requirements, and arranging road freight to the facility for repacking into sea freight containers. Maintain client etiquette by taking requests from clients and assisting throughout the sea freight process. Provide clients with accurate cost estimates, including shipping line charges and company agency fees. Forward orders to relevant international offices and monitor accordingly.
