SD402 Senior Building Surveyor

About the Opportunity

Cabonne Council has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our Development Services team.

Our Development Services team has been a stable force for many years, however with recent retirements we are now looking to re-energise under new leadership to add depth to our innovative and dynamic team.

The purpose of this position is to coordinate a range of building functions by maintaining and enforcing compliance with recognised construction and building standards and legislation. To assess and determine Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Section 68 and Occupation Certificates in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and relevant Building Codes, as well as assisting with carrying out mandatory critical stage inspections in regard to new building specifically class 2 to 9 buildings.
