Scientist - Nuclear Fuel Behavior Analysis and Development

For the Reactor Physics and Thermal‑Hydraulics Laboratory we are looking for a scientist specializing in nuclear fuel behavior analysis and development.

Your tasks

• Development of nuclear fuel performance codes, including both established methodologies and high-fidelity approaches
• Modelling and simulation of standard and advanced fuel concepts, covering operational, transient, accident, and storage scenarios
• Verification and validation of models, methods, and computational tools using international benchmark data and post‑irradiation examinations, and experimental measurements
• Technical support to the regulator through independent assessments and expert review of fuel related safety questions
• Participation in international activities, preparation of research proposals, publication of scientific articles and supervision of students
