Overview

Scientist in Hempel’s expanding & diverse R&D – Research & Development, Technology Centers team. Utilize polymerchemistry and/or material science background to drive challenging research projects and expand expertise.

Direct report to R&D Manager, Technology Centers. Based in Polinyà, Spain, collaborate with colleagues worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, execute and report research projects using existing and/or new knowledge, methods and theories to solve problems, and improve or generate new technologies and processes
  • Advance characterization methods to study structure property relationships
  • Develop fundamental understanding of structure property relationships for multicomponent polymeric materials
  • Progress all required research and experimental work in the lab in order to meet the objectives of the projects
