Position Overview

Qualified Science Teacher for a secondary school in South Staffordshire. Position is long‑term, beginning September.

Location

Based in Leicester or Leicestershire, with a willingness to work within the Staffordshire or Wolverhampton area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils, with A Level teaching desirable.
  • Plan lessons, mark assessments and maintain high teaching standards.
  • Follow the school behaviour plan and safeguard children at all times.
  • Submit all work and records to the correct member of staff by the end of each day.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4; A Level experience preferred.
  • Passion for Science and ability to inspire pupils.
