Science Teacher – Southend, Wickford, Billericay & Chelmsford

Full‑Time | Qualified Teachers Only (QTS Required) – Start dates: Easter 2026 or September 2026.

The Role

• Deliver high‑quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum requirements.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students' academic progress and personal development.
• Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community.
• Both specialist (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and general Science teachers are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – FQT only.
• Strong curriculum and subject knowledge in Science.
• Proven experience teaching KS3–KS4.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management.
