About the Company

It enables scientists to raise funds, create value from their work, and distribute that value directly to their communities. Since 2023, Bio has directed over $50m to global researchers, offering an alternative to traditional pharma funding.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage Discord communities including channel creation, bot setup, and onboarding flows
  • Host community events such as AMAs, journal clubs, voice chats, and Twitter/X Spaces
  • Create engagement programming like research highlights, workshops, and topical discussions
  • Facilitate connections between members and identify emerging voices
  • Moderate discussions to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Track community health metrics and experiment with new engagement formats
