Program Description:
The Learning House, a private therapeutic day school located in Wheeling, IL serving junior and high school students, is seeking a School Therapist (LSW/LCSW/ LCPC/LMFT) with strong clinical skills in the areas of individual, family and group counseling to join our staff. The Learning House is a year-round program for students who have been determined eligible to receive special education services in the categories of ED/SLD/OHI and Autism. The Learning House integrates individualized education, vocational support, individual, group and family counseling, and experiential activities to encourage students to develop a sense of self worth and mutual respect; healthy decision making; responsibility and accountability; a sense of community; and a successful future.
