Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Prescriber to serve as a School Nurse in Kirikiriroa. The role is part of a wider team, yet you will work autonomously within your school, championing tikanga and health equity for Māori, Pacific, rainbow, care‑experienced and disabled youth.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate and the ability to prescribe
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience; experience working with youth is preferred
- Valid full New Zealand driver licence
- Comfortable working autonomously in a culturally appropriate, safe and responsive environment
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality of information
- Passionate about providing quality health services that meet the needs of children, young people and their whanau
- Leadership qualities are an advantage but not essential
