School Assistant

Pattasten School is seeking a school assistant for a fixed-term position from August 6, 2026, to June 4, 2027.

The position is primarily located in the special class of Rekolanniity Child Protection Unit, where you will work alongside the special class teacher and another school assistant. Some of the assistant’s hours may be in general education classes at the elementary school. The weekly working hours are 32 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Guide, assist, and support students’ growth and learning activities together with the special class teacher and another assistant.
• Apply teamwork skills, versatile interaction, firmness, group management skills, and understanding of diversity.
• Work with children with special needs (experience is an advantage).

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in teaching, morning and afternoon activity guidance, or an equivalent qualification.
