Role Overview

A  in a Metro Rail Project is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling the project schedule for all phases of metro construction—civil works, stations, viaduct/tunnel, systems, rolling stock, and integration. The role ensures project timelines are realistic, coordinated across multiple contractors, and aligned with contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Baseline Development

  • Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.

  • Develop WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) aligned to project scope.

  • Establish baseline schedules for civil, systems, track, signaling, rolling stock, and depot works.

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to finalize schedule logic.
