Malaysian manufacturer of natural latex rubber thread is seeking a SCADA & PLC Programmer (Automation Engineer) to join the team. This role involves managing the entire industrial automation cycle, from creating HMI/SCADA screens to programming PLCs to keep manufacturing processes efficient, data‑driven, and with minimal downtime.
Job Responsibilities
Design, program, and commission Siemens S7‑1200/1500 PLC systems using TIA Portal.
Build and optimize WinCC SCADA / HMI for real‑time monitoring, alarms, data logging, and analysis.
Implement and fine‑tune PID loops for key parameters like temperature, pressure, and motor speed.
Configure motion control drives and manage industrial communication between field devices and the control room.
Troubleshoot automation issues to reduce downtime and maintain updated schematics, backups, and FDS documents.
