Company Overview
Malaysian manufacturer of natural latex rubber thread is seeking a
SCADA & PLC Programmer (Automation Engineer)
to join the team. This role involves managing the entire industrial automation cycle, from creating HMI/SCADA screens to programming PLCs to keep manufacturing processes efficient, data‑driven, and with minimal downtime.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and commission Siemens S7‑1200/1500 PLC systems using TIA Portal.
  • Build and optimize WinCC SCADA / HMI for real‑time monitoring, alarms, data logging, and analysis.
  • Implement and fine‑tune PID loops for key parameters like temperature, pressure, and motor speed.
  • Configure motion control drives and manage industrial communication between field devices and the control room.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues to reduce downtime and maintain updated schematics, backups, and FDS documents.
