Job Description

Jefferies is expanding its business in Tokyo and is looking for a candidate to support the project of starting the SBL business. The company will utilize Global as the front and middle office system and I-STAR as the back office system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building up SBL business in the new project, working closely with the business, external vendors, and the internal IT team. 


Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure functional specifications align with business requirements
  • Document current and proposed operational processes, applications, and workflow
  • Coordinate testing across various areas, products, and regions.
  • Support securities leading desk.
  • Manage liquidity and capital capacity across Equities in Japan.
  • Work with borrowers/ lenders to ensure smooth SBL settlement.
  • Manage margin calls and process margin payment and monitor the status.
