Join Globalstar in Montague, ON, as a Satellite Operations Technician. Ensure the seamless operation of satellite systems and oversee facility management tasks to enhance reliability.
The Gateway Technician will report to the Regional Manager and focus on on-site facility management. Responsibilities include maintaining critical systems such as HVAC and power, as well as monitoring Gateway RF subsystems. Effective coordination with vendors and adherence to processes will ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain all aspects of the satellite earth station
• Monitor power systems, HVAC, and fire suppression elements
• Ensure uptime for Gateway RF sub-systems
• Work with vendors for site maintenance tasks
• Follow documentation and established operational procedures
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
