SATCOM Electronics Technician - Diego Garcia

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a SATCOM Electronics Technician to support a government contract based on the island of Diego Garcia.

PURPOSE / SCOPE

The SATCOM Electronics Technician is responsible for setting-up, packing, configuring, operating, and maintaining satellite terminals (fixed and tactical) along with associated assemblies and providing technical assistance and training to users.

Other duties may include, but not be limited to the following:

• Serves as a hands-on, working shift for configuration, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of SATCOM Terminals.
• Installs equipment according to manufacturer's specifications - Interprets maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test i...
