Intermediate Mechanical Designer - Saskatoon, SK

Location: Saskatoon, SK, Canada

Key Responsibilities

• Understand owner/user requirements and the project mission.
• Interpret plant PFDs, P&IDs, and plant battery limits and constraints.
• Prepare 3D equipment models and 3D design.
• Generate 2D drawings from the 3D model as required by the project.
• Develop 2D drawings and manage contract drawings.
• Perform conceptual layout work and check drawings prior to release.
• Develop design details and draft mechanical plant models following applicable standards and project specifications.
• Execute designs using mechanical and layout design criteria, regulations, codes, and standards.
• Apply design criteria throughout the evolution of the design.
• Use vendor data, drawings and information to develop and verify the model.
