**Job Title: Sandblasting Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Sandblasting Operator, you will prepare surfaces for coating or repair by removing rust and paint using high-pressure abrasive blasting. You will operate heavy machinery, safely strip paint, grease, and corrosion from metal surfaces, and set up, calibrate, and maintain sandblasting equipment and portable air compressors.
**Responsibilities**
+ Safely strip paint, grease, and corrosion from surfaces using abrasive blasting.
+ Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain sandblasting equipment and portable air compressors.
+ Load, unload, and dispose of various abrasive materials such as sand, glass beads, and steel shot.
+ Ensure the proper finish on metal surfaces by selecting the appropriate abrasive materials.
