Hiring: Storage & Backup Engineer (SAN)
Location: Cyberjaya
Salary: up to RM11,000 (based on experience)
Contract: 18 months
Experience: 8 years in storage and backup engineering and 2 years in a senior technical role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Storage & Backup Engineer to support and manage enterprise-level storage infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security of storage and backup environments while supporting day-to-day operations and improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor storage and backup system performance and capacity
Respond to alerts and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
Perform routine health checks and maintenance on SAN environments
Handle backup and restore requests from business users
Troubleshoot storage and backup issues (SAN connectivity, disk failures, performance issues)
Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 or management when required
