Job Title: Sample Reception Technician

Location: Slough

Pay Range/details: £13.60 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

Omega has an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading water testing specialists. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis working Monday - Friday 16:00-00:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Assigning accurate testing
  • Handling of all activities relating to sample reception and goods in including receiving deliveries and unpacking samples, shipping of parcels/post
  • Logging samples into LIMS and storage
  • Some lab‑based work and administration tasks.
  • Assisting the team in maintaining an efficient workflow through the laboratory.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in storage areas including sample disposal.
