Same Day Surgery Medical Coder

Location: Quezon City / 100% ONSITE

Qualifications:

• Active CPC, COC, CCS-P and/or CCS
• College Graduate of BS Nursing or Med Allied Course
• 3 years solid SDS Medical Coding Experience

Responsibilities:

• This role is for a medical coder specializing in Ambulatory Surgery cases. The primary responsibility is to accurately review medical records (specifically SDS - likely meaning Surgical Day Services or a similar designation) and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures. 
• This includes correct sequencing of codes and application of Level I and Level II modifiers, all in accordance with official coding guidelines, coding clinics, and CPT assistants.
