The
Salesforce Data Migration Specialist
is responsible for executing data migrations from source systems into Salesforce. The role focuses on data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source system data and the Salesforce data model
• Define and maintain field mappings between source systems and Salesforce
• Clean, transform, and prepare data for migration activities
• Execute data loads into Salesforce using approved tools
• Migrate standard and custom Salesforce objects
• Maintain data relationships and referential integrity
• Validate migrated data against source systems
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data errors and inconsistencies
• Support test migrations, user acceptance testing, and production data loads
