Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager - Rooms role based at Shangri-La Bengaluru. The Sales Manager - Rooms is responsible for maximizing rooms revenue and market share by developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate, leisure, and group accounts. Daily responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, preparing proposals and contracts, and conducting sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings. The role involves collaborating closely with Revenue Management, Front Office, and Reservations teams to optimize rate strategies, inventory, and promotional activities. The Sales Manager - Rooms will also track performance against targets, prepare regular sales reports, participate in sales events and trade shows, and ensure all activities reflect the brand’s service standards and guest-centric approach.
