Sales Manager, Groups & Events (Calgary)

What you will do

The Groups & Events department is currently recruiting for the position of Sales Manager , Calgary . We are looking for a passionate, driven, and self‑motivated professional to manage both inbound and outbound sales; making The Rec Room Calgary Deerfoot and Cineplex Theatres the go‑to destination for business meetings and events. You are an experienced salesperson who enjoys breaking new ground, finding new accounts and helping clients reach their event goals. You are a multitasker and a team player who is equally comfortable prospecting for new business as you are with developing deeper sales relationships with existing clients. Superior interpersonal skills are a must as you will liaise daily with venue management teams throughout your region to ensure proper execution of your client’s events. Previous experience in event management and hospitality is preferred.
