Sales Development Representatives demonstrate their sales skills to clients, promoting the best of what the company can offer to their business, and set appointments for Business Development Managers to close.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, and persuading potential customers to purchase a product or service or make a donation.
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations.
  • Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
  • Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone to solicit sales for goods or services or request donations for charitable causes.
  • Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted.
