Description: Valley Joist is seeking an onsite Sales Assistant for its location in Fernley, Nevada. This position will assist, and report to, the Project Manager to complete all tasks related to the sales department including estimates, quotes, contracts, documents, and reports. Job Responsibilities include: • Enter data in Valley’s proprietary design software • Enter data in Valley’s estimating spreadsheet to develop quotes for sales representatives • Maintain quote, sales, and job information in management software (SAGE) • Review purchase orders for accuracy against quotes • Interact day-to-day with Valley team (sales, engineering, and accounting) as well as external customers • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management Requirements: • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) • Basic math knowledge • English proficiency (speaking & writing) Other skills needed: • Self-motivated • Organized
