Job summary
We are a busy GP practice with a patient list size of approx. 5600 patients and growing. We are a friendly and supportive practice of 3 GPs, 2 practice nurses, 1 HCA and a team of pharmacists, in addition to a multi-skilled reception/admin team that offer our patients a range of support.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to undertake the usual duties associated with a GP working in primary care. In accordance with the Practice consulting schedule, the post-holder will undertake a variety of duties including F2F and telephone consultations, visiting patients at home, checking/signing prescriptions, test results, medical reports and examinations and letters on behalf of the practice.
Making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems, either self-referred or referred from other health care workers.
