Sagamok Anishnawbek is hiring a full-time Roads Heavy Equipment Operator. Help maintain community infrastructure and ensure safe roadways for all members.
As a key member of the Planning and Infrastructure Unit, you will operate various equipment, conduct road maintenance, and contribute to construction projects. This role aims to support the continuous improvement and service quality for Sagamok community members. You will be responsible for essential maintenance tasks and the operation of heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and maintain roads and perform repairs
• Operate equipment for snow plowing and road maintenance
• Maintain operational safety and perform minor repairs
• Assist with community training on road safety
• Collaborate on capital road projects with contractors
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-4 years of heavy machinery experience needed
