Safety technician

Overview

Primary Function of Position: Support daily Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) operations by assisting in the development, review, and execution of key safety programs and compliance processes. This role contributes directly to the prevention of workplace incidents through effective risk assessment, permit-to-work administration, contractor management, and support of EHS training activities. Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, review, and updating of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for operations, engineering, maintenance, and support functions.
• Conduct field validations of JSAs to ensure accuracy and alignment with actual job tasks.
• Support the identification of hazards and ensure proper documentation of controls.
• Review, validate, and process EHS permits.
