A large and well established Mining Company based in the Gauteng Province, has a challenging opportunity for a Safety Officer – Underground Production. The ideal candidate will To ensure compliance to legislation, mine policies, standard rules and procedures in respect of safety issues in a designated area of responsibility. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements :

• Matric
• COMSOC 1 & 2
• Shiftboss Certificate
• Blasting Certificate
• ND / Degree in Safety Management
• 3 – 5 Years underground gold conventional production experience
• 5 years’ experience as an appointed Shiftboss
• 2 – 3 years’ experience as an appointed Safety Officer
