As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring job site safety, conducting regular inspections to identify hazards, and implementing corrective actions. You will assist in developing and delivering safety training, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a positive safety culture.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct regular safety inspections at active job sites to identify hazards, unsafe behaviors, and compliance gaps.
+ Document findings, issue corrective actions, and ensure closure of identified items.
+ Assist site supervisors and foremen with implementing project-specific safety plans (PSSPs).
+ Deliver or coordinate safety trainings such as tool-box talks, equipment operation basics, and OSHA-required programs.
+ Ensure employees maintain required certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, aerial lift, confined space, first aid/CPR).
