Safety Coordinator (Safety Services Department) Job Summary & Minimum Qualifications: The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the Safety Manager in the Cooperative's accident prevention and loss control program through on-site visits to the Cooperative's different locations, accident investigation for worker's compensation claims, develop safety and health training programs, maintain DOT driver records as well as training and required drug screens. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related area and a minimum of five (5) years of experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing background. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, this position requires an Associate degree in a related area and a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience.
