SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the Safety Office of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will administer and promote safety management system through development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate with management, employees, safety offices, and other support lines to ensure consistent application and enforcement of safety policies. You will conduct mishap or near miss investigations involving Navy personnel and/or damage to government property. You will serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert of the safety program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
