Safeguarding Trustee

We are seeking a dedicated and values-driven individual to join our Board of Trustees as a Safeguarding Trustee.

The Safeguarding Trustee will help the Board maintain strong safeguarding oversight and support the organisation in continuing to provide safe, effective services for young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Board in monitoring safeguarding policies and procedures
• Providing safeguarding oversight and challenge where appropriate
• Helping ensure safeguarding remains central to organisational decision-making
• Supporting the charity in understanding safeguarding responsibilities and best practice
• Advising on issues relating to young people, education, Alternative Provision or the wider youth sector
• Acting as a safeguarding champion at Board level
