Our client in the mining industry is seeking to employ a Rubber Liner to join their team.
Please note that this is a (fixed-term contract).

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Inspect and prepare steel surfaces, degrease, grit blast to SA 2.5 / SA 3, and verify surface profile before lining.

  • Cut, fit and install cold bond or hot vulcanised rubber lining sheets to chutes, hoppers, launders, and pipes per engineering drawings.

  • Apply adhesives, primers, and bonding agents according to manufacturer specifications and cure times.

  • Use skiving tools, rollers, and presses to ensure full contact and eliminate air pockets.

  • Perform hot vulcanisation: operate autoclaves, heating blankets, and temperature controls safely.
