Responsibilities

  • Overseeing tenders.
  • Overseeing Contracts Managers & Operation Co‑ordinators.
  • The Contracts managers will run the day‑to‑day works with the roofers, and liaise with Ops coordinators for orders etc.
  • Planning labour and materials with contracts managers and ensuring that all sites are adequately resourced.
  • Securing material prices through merchants.
  • Managing stock.
  • Attending pre‑start meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, and main contractors, attending meetings and providing project updates.
  • Checking and signing off RAMS for each site.
  • Work with commercial team to monitor budgets, track variations, and manage turnover to maximise profitability.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (such as CSCS/SSSTS standards in the UK), including risk assessments and site audits. (1, 2, 3, 4)
