Rock Structural Designer

We are a design and consulting firm in the built environment looking for a Rock Structural Designer to work on diverse infrastructure and construction projects in Espoo or Tampere with hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Design rock structures and blasting solutions (e.g., tunnels, rock chambers, rock cuts)
• Design reinforcement and support solutions (e.g., bolts, shotcrete)
• Coordinate plans with other design disciplines
• Participate in project phases from preliminary studies to detailed design
• Conduct rock chamber condition assessments and repair design
• Support construction phases with expert advice

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or related field
• Experience in rock construction and/or rock structural design
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with stakeholders
