Rock Driller

GNF Commercial Management Limited is seeking experienced Rock Drillers in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time, permanent on-site role supporting civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operating hydraulic and pneumatic drill rigs
• Drilling blast holes according to specifications
• Performing equipment inspections and maintenance
• Maintaining safe work environments
• Coordinating with blasting teams
• Following all safety protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of drilling experience in quarry or heavy civil environments
• Comfortable working in outdoor, high-noise construction settings
• Experience with Atlas Copco or Furukawa rigs is an asset
• Familiarity with quarry production methods and rock materials
• Safety certifications such as WHMIS, First Aid, or Surface Miner are assets
