Robotics Test EngineerJob Overview
This position is responsible for hands-on testing, characterization, and performance evaluation of actuators, robotic manipulators, and multi-axis motion systems. The engineer will plan and execute motion performance tests across multiple control modes, collect and analyze data, maintain test infrastructure, and support the integration and bring-up of new robotic prototypes.
Key Responsibilities
+ Execute and evaluate motion performance testing on actuators, robotic arms, and multi-axis robotic systems.
+ Operate and validate systems across position, velocity, torque/force, and impedance control modes.
+ Set up and calibrate test equipment, including encoders, force/torque sensors, IMUs, and motion capture systems.
+ Collect, analyze, and report performance data to identify anomalies and support root-cause investigations.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot test fixtures, dynamometers, and lab equipment.
