Robotics Design Engineer

Position Summary The Robotics Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing robotic systems from concept through production.

This role blends mechanical design, electronics integration, and collaboration with software and controls teams to create reliable, manufacturable, and high-performance robotic solutions.

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities Design inline inspection tools and robotic systems from concept through detailed design and production release.

Conduct analyses using FEM/CAE tools (including ANSYS) to validate performance, strength, and reliability.

Execute component and material selection based on mechanical performance, environmental conditions, and lifecycle requirements.

Develop complete engineering documentation including manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
