Job Overview

The Robotic Welder - Night Shift (5:30 PM – 4:00 AM) will weld and program assemblies on a robotic welder to ensure it meets the ISO:9001:2000 Quality Management System.

Qualifications

  • Completed at least some secondary school
  • 3-5 Years of experience in welding and programming robotic welders
  • Valid work permit (Canadian, permanent resident, or foreign national)

Responsibilities

  • Weld and program assemblies designated for the robotic welder
  • Edit weld programs to improve efficiency and quality
  • Manually weld inaccessible areas by robot
  • Properly handle and use jigs and safety equipment
  • Change out jigs/fixtures in the robot cell
  • Spot weld assemblies before robotic welder welds them
  • Clean welds and remove splatter when weld is completed
