Roadway Design Engineers (2 - Ottawa & Kingston)

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your main focus will be providing roadway facility design services to clients in the Kingston or Ottawa Areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with roadway facility functional, preliminary and detailed design services, including work on: rural highways; rural and urban roadways; intersection design; and interchange design, guide-rails, signing, pavement markings, profiles, cross sections, and estimating quantities
  • Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expression’s of interest, specifications and meeting minutes
  • Carry out project management activities such as project team co-ordination, monitoring schedule and budget compliance and invoice preparation
