Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a RN Skilled Nursing (SNF), Long Term Care (LTC) for their Harvard, IL location. Responsibilities:
+ The Director of Nursing (DON) for Client is the unit director of nursing with shift accountability. This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating nursing care activities to improve continuity of care across the continuum under the direction of the Client director for nursing care practice. The DON assists the Client administrator with developing and implementing policies and procedures to provide nursing services to meet the Federal and State regulatory requirements. DON provides continuing education to insure competency of staff. Provides consultative direction and expertise in all areas of nursing services to insure assessment and improvement and quality maintenance programs are developed and maintained.
