Registered Nurse in the Operating Room

Experience required: 2 years. RN license (Compact accepted). Certifications needed: BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA. Eye experience is required. Scrub experience is preferred. Call is required during the day and night based on call outs. The department aims to keep around 2 to 3 call shifts per month, but this may fluctuate based on needs. Day RNs may be floated to weekends or night shifts as per unit needs. The department prefers to have around 1 weekend per 4-week schedule and 3 night shifts per 4-week schedule, but this may also fluctuate based on needs. Night RNs may be floated to weekends as required by unit needs. The department aims to have around 4 to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, but this may vary based on needs. RNs may float to main operating rooms if the need arises.
