Description: Unit notes radius rule is 100 miles. Will accept applicants from 50-100 miles with adjusted rate. No acceptance for applicants within 50 miles. The unit has 32 beds, and patients are only on telemetry if ordered. Telemetry is monitored 24/7. IV drips include dopamine at a constant rate with no titration, primarily for renal perfusion. Heparin administration is included. Patients may consist of stable vent patients and Bipap patients. Renal patients may have acute or chronic failure and require dialysis.
