Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC)
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care provides direct nursing care to residents while supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of care. The RN is responsible for clinical oversight, care planning, medication administration, and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards
Assess resident health status, monitor changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper delegation of duties
Document nursing care accurately and timely in medical records
