About the Role

We now have an opportunity for a Rigging and Facilities Support Technician for a 4-year fixed term contract. To provide hands on support to the IFM Building Fabric team in the day-to-day operation of lifting activities within, and building fabric maintenance, repairs and upgrades to the Synchrotron Building, Diamond House and other external or auxiliary areas.

Full training will be provided in all aspects of the role including health and safety, working at height, and all aspects of crane operations and rigging.

For the Rigging Support aspect of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the existing team of Crane Operators/Riggers in the safe use of the site overhead cranes and implementation of correct lifting techniques.
