Rework Operator (Soldering)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform rework and repair activities using a soldering tip (mandatory) and approved hand tools
• Carry out soldering and desoldering tasks according to rework instructions and quality requirements
• Identify and correct solder-related defects such as cold joints, solder bridges, insufficient solder, and component misalignment
• Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times
• Accurately record rework activities, defect types, and quantities
• Properly segregate reworked, rejected, and accepted units
• Meet daily production and quality targetsEnsure quality (work meets or exceed Sandisk Workmanship standards) and improve efficiency through the use of Camstar System.
• Fill out daily logs and other paperwork as required.
• Ensure assemblies are properly handled and marked.
• Ensure repairs follow Sandisk's repair techniques.
